The chiller can lower temperatures to the low 40°F range, and even into the high 30°F range under optimal conditions. Ambient temperatures and sun exposure are the primary factors affecting the heat load on a cold therapy tub, with body heat being relatively insignificant. Minimizing external heat exposure will enhance chiller performance, making low to mid 40°F achievable even in full sun or less-than-ideal conditions.
